26 marca 2005 roku ogłoszono listę nominowanych do jednej  z najważniejszych nagród przyznawanych za największe osiągnięcie w dziedzinie science fiction – Hugo 2005

 

Nagrody Hugo nazwane tak na cześć pisarza, wydawcy i wynalazcy, Hugo Gernsbacka są najważniejszymi nagrodami przyznawanymi dla profesjonalistów i fanów. Do głosowania uprawnieni są wszyscy członkowie 63 Światowego Konwentu Science Fiction, który odbędzie się w Glasgow w dniach 4-8 sierpnia 2005 roku. Lista zwycięzców zostanie ogłoszona na ceremonii końcowej 7 sierpnia 2005 roku w Glasgow.

 

Nominowani do nagrody Hugo w 2005 roku są niżej wymienieni w poniższych kategoriach, włączając w to nagrodę im. Johna J. Cambella.
